Everything is contained in the title, Ariadne's Thread: The working tool of the artist, the complexity of the exhibition, the presence of a common denominator that binds together the works on display. Needle and thread are in fact the medium chosen by Arianna Fantin, well 6 are the works on display, is the theme of double-substrate to act as artistic creation that the viewer is called to explore, in an exhibition project that involves all the space of Fragilecontinuo.
The absence of color, the ability to read the negative, the use of embroidery are the main theme of the exhibition, Arianna Fantin sets up as a sort of "functional book" (from the critical text Baraldi Katie) inspired by the poetic Bruno Munari: dense and rich in references to the imagination of calls that trigger the involvement of the viewer. In what is the embroidery on canvas to do by means of expression consistently used as an actual printing technique and investigated with the same rigor of the incision.
The exhibition starts already outside Fragilecontinuo, where the viewer is greeted by Poetry / Rita Degli Esposti, installation created on a specially designed text by the poet Degli Esposti and legible so ambivalent: on the positive, as with the written word wire, and negative, on the back of the canvas in a process according to which the sign becomes a kind of drawing the text.
The show continues with two artist's books, these embroidered on fabric: the White House Text and sewing. Written by the same Arianna, the first is a reflection in the form of a fairy tale about visual perception and the role of the artist and the second one is a collection of quotations and selected notes in the months before the show.
The fourth element of the exhibition is an excuse, during which the performance artist scucirà - on a canvas of the same height - an original on a rilfessione focused on language in a symbolic sort of metanarrative. For two days, Arianna Fantin melt the wires that previously had embroidered in two distinct moments that will take place on 27 and 29 January at 19.00.
written report. Documented is the fifth element of the exhibition, on canvas triptych from the affirmation of well-condensed Bruno Munari that "A very thorough explanation would eliminate the function of the created instead to stimulate the imagination."
Finally, Rhinocerus Dürer makes explicit reference to the measure with the technique of engraving: always through embroidery, Arianna Fantin manages to abandon the two-dimensional size of the board of the German master, turning it into a sculptural object.

the occasion of the exhibition by Arianna Fantin "Ariadne's Thread," Foodhap' offers the public the happening "Eat the wire" of the show involving the audience in an "extensive pleasure" through the act of eating.
The initiative, in keeping with the language of the artist, wants to create a circuit between synaesthetic works and the viewer, not only to enhance the communicative power of the works on display, but also to make active visitors whose gesture is constituent and integral part of the happening.
spool of edible (licorice), balls of marshmallow, stitches a bit like a marshmallow skewers and balls of yarn sugar really arranged in baskets inside the tunnel, is the choreography but also the "first act" of a show without script that will be created with the participation of the spectator who will "only" knowingly eat.
